St. Charles High School has been designated as an A+ School. Qualified students graduating from St. Charles High School will be eligible to receive the following:  Tuition and general fees (subject to legislative appropriation) to attend any public community college, vocational, or technical school in the State of Missouri for two (2) years. To be eligible for the financial incentives of the A+ School program, a student must be certified as an A+ student by St. Charles High School.  To qualify, the student must meet the following criteria by graduation day.  

*  Enter into a written agreement with St. Charles High School prior to graduation and have

     attended an A+ School for at least three consecutive years.   

*  Graduate from high school with a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or higher.    

*  Achieve a qualifying score* for the ACT math sub-test, the Compass Pre-Algebra exam or the

    COMPASS Algebra  exam while in high school.

     (*-The Missouri Department of Higher Education will release qualifying scores annually.)

*  Have at least a 95% attendance record for the four-year period.   

*  Perform 50 hours of unpaid tutoring or mentoring of students through Students as Mentors

    (SAMS)   

 * Maintain a record of good citizenship and avoidance of the unlawful use of drugs, alcohol and

    tobbaco.
